Hello, I just wanted to comment about the creators of the Pantheon Steel Halo not being musicians. Pantheon's founder, Kyle Cox, is actually an accomplished Steel Pan musician and teacher. His love of pan lead him to become a pan tuner/maker and also a musician who teaches others in his area the art of playing steel pan. His partner, Jim Dusin is an accomplished engineer who helped develop the manufacturing process involved with the Halo. Despite the term "manufactured", each Halo, or HadPan has to be meticulously tuned with it's fundamental note, along with the 5th harmonic, and the octave of the fundamental. It's a process that takes many years of practice to develop. Just thought I'd share..... ;) Here's a quick sample of my own Halo playing, if you are interested... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJ54gol9ZQA :-)
